Reid the Artist

Find the people in the background that match these statements: What an idiot. Someone wake me up. Get me the hell out of here. I wonder what those stripes are on his sleeve.

Believe it or not, that could easily be a Commes de Garcon jacket costing in the thousands of dollars. Nice looking jacket. Except, that would equate to the cost of approximately 4000 pounds of sprouts.

What? Nobody wants to comment on the utter twaddle sitting on the easel?

Why don't you see Scot Tempesta's name prominently in Sailing Anarchy? I guess he's just shy. If you look around, there's a "Contact" page, but no mention of Scot Tempesta as the founder or primary operator. But in other venues, he not above taking credit for "the most visited sailing website in the world". What you will find on SA is a very long "Legal" page on Terms and Conditions for using his web site. There are twelve long lawerly paragraphs, the first of which is "1. Copyright". It seems all of SA is copyrighted in 2001 even though most of it has appeared since 2001. Is that possible??? And "Any redistribution, retransmission, or publication of any material is strictly prohibited without the express written consent of the copyright owner", e.g. Sailing Anarchy, e.g. Scot Tempesta. With a section entitled "Lies and Rumors" on SA, you must be prepared for lawsuits, yes?

Checking out his rank. His jacket is a double breasted Naval style, yet he sports Army Corporal stripes. Must be trying out the new Experimental "Corporal-Captain" rank. Might get you into the Kimpo AFB O-club, but all they'll serve you is Nehi Grape.

Can't he be sued by the Army and/or Navy for wearing that jacket when he's never served in the military? while everyone else his age was being drafted to go to 'Nam, he was a-void-hoing the draft, sailing to parts unknown!

FYI on uniforms. It may be a bit ironic, but the reason he cannot be cited with a federal offense is because he did mix Army and Navy element in his "Uniform"

It's a variation of an old Hollywood trick. The only way they can use a uniform on an actor is either a) get permission from the military, or b) alter the uniform in some way, no matter how slight, so it is not a "legal" uniform. It can be as slight as having the name on the wrong side of the uniform.

Whether he did it on purpose or by accident, who knows? I'm placing bets on the latter.
